TLDR : Answer Summary
Obtaining a Dental Treatment Visa (DTV) for dental work in Thailand as a UK citizen may be challenging. You need a detailed treatment plan from a reputable clinic, and many applicants are facing declines due to stricter regulations. It's suggested to visit the clinic first for a diagnosis. In some cases, a single entry tourist visa may be an alternative for simpler treatments.

Highly unlikely now. Try another me method of getting the DTV visa.

No reputable clinic, hospital, or doctor is going to provide paperwork without seeing you in person for diagnosis, treatment plan, medication, and ongoing care appointments.

Dependa on embassy you apply at. Not all see dental as medical. Embassy in norway declined that.

Just book a MT or cooking course.

You’ll need a proper long-term treatment plan from a reputable clinic or hospital. It used to be very easy, but that was months ago. Many people are now getting declined when trying to go through this pathway.

It was very easy when DTV first implemented. Pal got his from UK with 4 appointments over 2 months. I doubt very much it would be approved today.

Yes but only if you've been to the clinic , got a detailed treatment plan for at least 6 months. You would probably be given a single entry tourist visa instead for simple treatment.
