I've seen them. Double check the opening of the Re-entry visa at Suvarna (it used to be 24h, but not sure now because of covid). Assuming it's open it's much, MUCH easier. Trust me, I have done this about 100 times...
In most cases, the worst thing that can happen is that you get fined 800b if you go to immigration to extend your visa or whatever. So if, for whatever reason, it doesn't get done, I wouldn't lose sleep over it...
