I have British passport. In light of CV, Are they now requesting auto certificate (of health) for reentry to Thailand ? Asking because my Italian partner has been told he needs one and I can't find any info for british citizens.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The current requirement for British passport holders regarding reentry to Thailand during the COVID-19 pandemic is evolving. As of March 2020, there were no requirements for a health certificate unless entering from high-risk countries. However, guidelines can change rapidly, and it is advised to check updates from airlines and Thai authorities.

Check with the airline company the latest updates,

As these rules do change and are made by different organizations like IATA, International Air Transport Organisation

CAAT, Civil Aviation Authority Thailand,

AoT, Airports of Thailand,

Some Airline Companies made their own restrictions

Good luck

What confusing to me is if these same rules apply for border run. I have already been here since December without returning to Europe.

The UK is on the 2nd list. No health certificate required (could change any time!) but you're required to self-isolate if you feel unwell.

Italian can not enter without visa, this is clear. Further news will be available after the Cabinet meeting on the 17th March. In the meantime:

Thanks for the responses. Can we keep this up dated as things change? Things are pretty confusing atm and it's not easy to get the correct information

At present no. Unless you are entering from a high risk country. The situation is obviously changing quickly, but at the minute you can come without any additional restrictions

We are awaiting reports from arrivals...and from Thai Immigration as this is implemented.

Will report back ASAP.

Check with your airline.
