I've lived here since 2002.

Marriage extension was 200k and retirement 400k.

It changed circa 2005.

Marriage 400k retirement 800k.

Only difference being, grandad rights for retirement.

If you already had it and didn't break the cycle, you could keep using the 400k.

They never charged a fee.

I’ve had and cared for cats here in the village for 15 years.

The majority were feral kittens.

I managed to get two adopted.

I’ve got one that is still with me after two years.

Paid out a fortune in vets fees.

A friend of mine is Swiss.

He retired last year.

Had to inform the Swiss government where he was living as does not pay tax now in Switzerland.

They have informed the Thai government, and I know he has been in contact with accountants...
