I usually provide them with six months of statements, but I’ve heard that they now require one year.

the ‘under consideration’ stamp for Marriage extension to a visa is because all of the paperwork has to be processed at the main office in Bangkok.

I've lived here since 2002.

Marriage extension was 200k and retirement 400k.

It changed circa 2005.

Marriage 400k retirement 800k.

Only difference being, grandad rights for retirement.

If you already had it and didn't break the cycle, you could keep using the 400k.

Many years ago, I used to go into the bank and withdraw money using my passport and card.

They never charged a fee.
