we wil just do the 30 day on flight back then apply for another 30 day extension that should take us to around mid April when it’ll be time to return to the uk for the spring/summer ,can’t really complain nearly

does the 60 day work the same way as the 90 day multi entry ie as in buy a re entry fly out then back before expiry and get stamped for 60 days again

I think the airlines are a bit more flexible when you have a visa rather than travelling with a waiver , my wife and I applied for a setv and only showed the flight in and 1 weeks hotel stay and they were approved in 5 days (uk) I did contact emirates about the one way and explained that we didn’t know what country we would be flying home from as we are spending 6 months travelling Asia with no set itinerary, they said just to show the visa at check in

Update , just checked in all that was asked was how long in Bangkok , just said we’re travelling around and going to Cambodia at some point and that was it , Glasgow airport emirates

of fact scrub that last bit , I don’t think that’s correct , I doesn’t make it very clear on the e visa site how to add your wife

thought that would be the case , looking at the Thai consulate and e visa site it looks like I can get an oa here in the uk for a year then and im assuming the drop down on the e visa non immigration, visiting or staying with applicants family in Thailand (more than 60 days) would be the correct one for my wife
