Can I get a 90-day return ticket with a 60-day tourist visa in Thailand?

my last 2 TR60’s I had no issue with a 90 return ticket, this year they wanted a signed letter taking responsibility for any possible overstay expenses. Kind of strange but it worked fine. My 2 priors I had booked cheap flights to KL as my RT was actually over 3 months out which cost me about $40.

yes so what I’m saying is I should be able to have 105 days, not 90.

They added 15 days to boost tourism but the change does not effect actual “tourism visas”
