Does a proof of recovery from Covid exist here in Thailand? When you get Covid in Thailand tell it the authorities and asking for this proof when negative again. Hope you know what I mean. Any experiences how it works? Couldn't find any information before. Asking for a friend

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, if you test positive for Covid-19 and wish to obtain a proof of recovery, you need to notify the nearest public hospital. They will follow up with you during your recovery and provide a recovery certificate after you have tested negative. Although many believe notifying the hospital is no longer necessary due to changes in handling Covid cases, it remains the official route to get the recovery document. Some comments express skepticism about the need to involve health authorities, citing the diminished severity of Covid-19, but documentation may still be required for certain purposes, such as school or work.
Thanks for the helpful comments. And to the rest of you. Maybe your parents didn't tellI you in childhood: "if you have nothing positive to say, you'd better be quiet"
Honestly you'd have to be nuts to notify a public hospital. This is 2022, not 2020. "Covid" is a mere shadow of its former self...for most it's just a mild cold. Very few need meds or any medical attention.
Sure I agree with you, but there may be various reasons that someone may need some documents regarding their covid status/history...

Yes, if you test positive you have to notify the public hospital closest to you (there's an online form). They call you a couple times to check how you are and provide meds. After you test negative they'll give you a certificate of recovery that students need and some employers require for missing school/work. I assume you can use it for whatever you want though.
Before, when you get covid in Thailand, you need to quarantine and when you get out, you get a paper you can keep as proof. Now, there is no quarantine anymore so you can just go in clinic or hospital if you need it.
