I agree with that also. But if you have complicate issues such as I do talked with accountant and he was willing to. Put his name on the opinion which works for me. Ultimately I am responsible for my actions but if I rely on a professional who is licensed to do business here then he can answer for incorrect decisions to some degree

If you want legitimate advice,,,,, talk to a Thai Tax professional. They’ll usually do initial consultation no charge. Don’t take legal/tax advice on social media. You will be required to answer for your actions so do it right.

Keep things simple. Open a new account with your new passport and name. Trust the funds out of the old account and your’re done. If it’s your account t that has the visa deposit you’ll get a letter and statements from both account for the next renewal. Should be ok as long as you have both old and new passport. I would also talk to a reputable visa agent or Thai immigration to verify that would work. Just an idea. Good luck.

Take the letter to immigration they will give you the proper receipt required to be in passport.

this came about because many expats ran out on their bills. I heard that RAM hospital in Chiang mai suffered over $100,000,000usd loss in a 3 year period because of expats not paying bills. That’s one hospital I’ve heard similar about others.

I get good service from Bangkok Hosp. I don’t let the money thing bother me. I already know how it goes down.

Probably king back to home country. Go to embassy and have passport replaced

that is incorrect. I used gold & tree in CM for year 1 & 2 and been going it alone for 5 yrs not a problem. The only thing that anyone should do is get copies for anything filed with immigration. They may not want to give to person applying but if insist they will. Then just follow that paperwork.

Every time you come through immigration at the airport they take your fingerprint. Any international airport in country.

agree and once you do the the renewal each year it is easy and $200 $300 yr cost. That maybe $6000 for 20 yrs. non OA makes no sense. non O easier to deal with.
