I book one way on an Asia carrier and no problem. One week prior to entry stamp expires, I go to immigration at local mall and complete form TM6 or 7 and pay for extension for 30 days to train in Muay Thai or what ever your reason is.. then buy your exit ticket after extension granted.

Get three and get a vehicle license too. Easier to do it all together if you have access to a car. It’s nearly identical written test.

Every one has entered Thailand at different times (recent/distant) with different experiences, so trying to give advise humbly is okay for me. At least give them directions of where to look is acceptable to me. Lord knows I need it from time to time.

I presented years ago and received a short term (maybe 1 year or 2) year DL with simple test. The past year I presented on a one year visa and I was required to take 6 hour video and approximately 50 question test and driver’s course test for MC and one for car. Multiple days of testing.
