It would be more advantageous for you as a foreigner to have a fixed address, assets and roots in Thailand.

Every time you transfer it you will have to pay taxes and fees… and it will be a big headache.

She can live in a condo purchased in you name without difficulty.

She can buy a Thai quota unit much cheaper herself.

Apartments are usually designated Thai quota (sometimes smaller units ~37sqm) and foreigner quota.

A foreigner cannot purchase a Thai quota designated unit.

A foreigner designated unit will command a higher price, even when purchased by a Thai national.

On May 1st, new Thai government banking regulations took effect with the intention of reducing the number of mule accounts used as part of phone scams.

Unfortunately these new regulations adversely affect many new and long term visitors.

The majority of the mule accounts are most likely Thais, who are lured by the prospect of easy money in exchange for handing over access to their new accounts.

As mentioned above, an agent (money), like with many things in Thailand, can help overcome the challenges.
