Workcation or soft power? Curious what kind of questions they asked in the interview

Anonymous participant Oh interesting. I thought it all had to be in one account. But maybe I misread or misunderstood something. Thank you so much for the reply.

How many months of bank statements did they require?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I just want to see the most updated, relevant reply on this.

I just don't like having to take a chance with officers being nitpicky like this or catching one who's in a bad mood or has some grudge with foreigners or the DTV itself. I'd rather not take my chances even with the papers in order.

it sounds like nonsense to me because he had everything they needed, it just wasn't all showing exactly the way they wanted. They're being nitpicky. If you have the funds but have to move things around between bank accounts, there should be some understanding there. There are good reasons people spread their money over different accohnts.

I get that, but then you're up against this kind of nonsense too where they reject it for no good reason. So, personally I'd rather spend a little extra time and money to not have a problem

Anonymous participant yep, that's fair. I was just wondering if maybe you didn't know or something.

My understanding is that there are other sports available, cooking classes, etc. But I'll have to leave it up to those in the know as to what exactly and specific places for recommendation.

It's not specific to DTV. It's up to the airline and immigration when you enter the country. Not sure there's any hard rule about it, but generally it's advised to have at least 6 months validity left on your passport (when entering any country) to avoid potential issues.
