How do I go about dealing with inbound flight/accomodation section of the application process (DTV) when you don't currently have my flights or accomodation sorted out?

I'm planning to apply tomorrow, I'm in the Phillipines but my flight booking will not be for two months and I'm not sure if I will be in Australia or America at the time, so figuring out flights now is not an easy situation..

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you're applying for a visa but don't yet have flights or accommodation booked, you can still proceed. Simply select a potential flight to Thailand and provide the flight number in your application without needing to purchase a ticket. Similarly, you can reserve a hotel or apartment online and use that confirmation for your application. Just ensure you have the relevant details on hand, as they may not require actual proof at the time of application, although some embassies might ask for evidence later.

Find an appropriate flight from your destination to Thailand, for the time you want to fly to Thailand. Use the flight number in your application. Same goes for accommodation. Book a hotel or apartment on Booking.com or similar, and use the booking confirmation in your application.

you dont need to buy ticket, just pick a date and find flights online and write down the flight number.......same for hotel or accommodation

Choose a proposed or intended flight and date as well as accommodation you are not bound by any of these choices.

Enter a flight number. The may or may not ask for an actual flight ticket .pdf

Regarding the flight you can buy a dummy ticket however the accomodation you must make a proprety reservation cuz the embassy will ask you later for a proof of accomodation of at least 6 months

That is just not true. The only Embassy asking for a 6 month accommodation booking is KL in Malaysia. Do you know of others?

Get a wee bit Imaginative and get the Flight codes from potential flights you may take

Search on Skyscanner for flight info and put that info here

I just did it all once I arrived as had to show visa stamps and other stuff that proved I was in the country I was applying from.

Just pick a flight, any flight and write down the details

Just pick a future flight from there to Thailand and fill it in with the flight #. You don't need to actually buy a ticket.

I done this but the embassy then requested me to show a e-ticket of booked flight which had been booked.
