I could write the correct answer for you here since my better half is a tax lawyer at the Revenue Department, but then Toni from Toronto or someone else will come along and claim they know better and that what the Revenue Department says is complete nonsense. Ask the tax office directly; otherwise, you’ll only get dangerously incomplete information from this group. But what do you expect from a Facebook group?

I can’t imagine that. However, what I can imagine is that the person who issued the documents (in this case, likely a studio or whatever) will report you to immigration!

I applied at the embassy in Berlin without any issues using a bank statement that was 5 weeks old. It was accepted without any problem. Additionally, I had transferred the money to the account shortly before the statement was generated with the reference “DTV Balance.” That was also accepted without any problem.

Possible, it’s been 15 years for me. Given the current situation, though, I wouldn’t recommend a trip to either Israel or Iran 😜

You shouldn’t, for example, enter Iran with the same passport and then try to enter Israel afterward – or vice versa. There will be problems. However, it’s usually not an issue to get a second passport for such trips. In Germany, for example, this second passport would only be valid for 5 years. I don’t know how it works in other countries!

I’m not sure, but I would maybe take a look at the embassy’s website where you want to submit the application.

I’m not entirely sure, but that might be helpful!

Is it? For example, if you stay in the country for 3 years on the same Non-B visa with annual extensions, you can apply for permanent residency after 3 years.

With a DTV, this option does not exist.

That was also my understanding. For “safety,” I wanted to ask a relevant lawyer. That was a complete misfire!
