the application for the visa is being made by my thai girlfriend, not me, ok, im allowed to fill in all the information for her, but it says in the pic I posted that if your partner, who is me, and not my thai girlfriend, then she can apply for a family permit, anyone know what this family permit is? Obviously she needs something to enter the UK, so I'm going to pick the best and easiest one I can get.

I don't think it would be 500k you need that amount for an immigration visa into Thailand, I wouldn't think you need to show that to support yourself for a few weeks in the UK, I could be wrong though.

thanks for that, a lot of good points, she lost her only son when he was 1 month old in a car accident in Pataya 8 years ago, the only photo she has of the little poor soul is a photo of him deceased in his mother's arms, is it worth including that photo in the application or not.

yes, thats covered but unsure about how much is better, I read where it was said 20,000bht was ok but someotold my gf she needed to show 100,000bht so I'm not 100% sure how much to put in.

, going by a lot of people there a lot of things to include in the letter to help it get approved, the more proof you have, the better and going by most people, the main talking point is proving that she has a genuine reason for returning home after the holiday, cheers mate 👍🏽

100% yes thats what we are doing, I have my letter almost finished but need to get it off ASAP as she wants to be here for Christmas,
