Everyone’s telling OP “go back to the booth” but how? Most likely they made this post after. Anyways if you walk past immigration and then past security in the airport it’ll be extra difficult… So in this case should OP go to immigration office? Yes it’s a good idea to check your stamp before leaving the counter, but if you forget, what’s the next step?
Based on comments my only thought is that you’ve supplied proof of income through the Thai bank account which is an automatic rejection even without much human review.
Anonymous participant TBH reading the comments here you sound a bit cold and harsh yourself. No offense. Just warmly and positively answer their questions and you’ll be fine. Maybe he had a bad day. No big deal. Mai pen rai you know.
i hypothesize that immigration officers fish for information like this. They ask a strange question and try make you slip up. If you’re actually legit you won’t “mess up” because there’s nothing to mess up on, but if you are doing some sketchy or bad stuff you might slip up and not have good responses.
When I checked in for my flight I did the self-check-in kiosk, I think they prefer you do that anyways to save time. Anyways the kiosk asked for my intended departure date from Thailand and I HAD to select something under 30 or 60 days… Nevermind, just selected some date and continued on no problem. No issues at immigration. Indeed many airlines are a bit out of date for some stuff.
I think it says “travel document” then something then 3 April 2026
The cursive is a bit hard for me to read to the left of 3 april, im not even sure if it isn’t just numbers.
Also im not sure if it even says travel document, the first word is “book,” and im fairly certain the next phrase is เดินทาง, which would mean it means passport or travel document.
