I am currently in thailand on holiday with uk pass port. I came on 12th October

I just did a 4 day trip to vietnam by air, but I have just noticed that they did not stamp my passport on re entry back to thailand. Is this normal, I am booked to go home on the Dec 5th but was considering a longer stay.

I have a 1 year AO visa multiple entry and I reported the 90 days online. All worked well. I left Thailand mid April via Suvarnabhumi Airport. Before I went through Immigration I asked an officer if I needed a re-entry stamp or document but he lead me to the Thai immigration row. I got the usual stamp showing that I've exited Thailand. I would think that there's no further 90-day reporting required since I'm back home in Europe but last week I've received an email where they reminded me to report the 90 days. How is that possible when I have left the country? What should I do?

Also it's a bit unclear what to do on the website as there's no mention of notifying them that I'm abroad. And what's the usual thing to do when I stayed in Thailand? Should I then click on 'New Application TM47' each time I have to report?

Thx

I had a Non-O marriage visa completed February 2023, but because my Thai wife and I were unaware of the re-entry stamp, I didn’t get the stamp. Upon returning November 1, 2023 I was informed that my visa was cancelled/voided. So that’s a lesson learned. My question is for US citizen spending the winter 6 months in Thailand, I could do the marriage visa again, still have the B400k in the bank…. Or it appears another option is simply a 60 day multiple entry tourist e-visa. Either visa I have to leave by day 90 and can return right away. Seems the only difference is the tourist visa doesn’t require the 400? Am I correct?

Last week, my wife (German passport holder) and myself (British passport holder) did our annual extension of our Non O (based on retirement) visas at the main Phuket Immigration Office in Phuket Road. This was about 35 days prior to the expiry of our existing extension. Phuket Immigration allows 45 days.

We arrived at about 09:30 following a trip to the bank. The covered waiting area for Room 103 was significantly busier than previous years, Our documents were checked outside within a few minutes and we were then given a queue number. After about 15 minutes, we were called inside together by a Captain. The inside of Room 103 has been revamped to squeeze in several more officers than in previous years. The Captain processed our papers extremely quickly and gave us receipts to collect our passports at 2pm the next day. From arrival until leaving was less than 30 minutes.

The only difference from previous years was that the officer told us that in the future we could use a map from Google Maps, instead of the hand drawn maps they had previously insisted on. New this year was also the requirement that the Longitude and Latitude of our condo was shown on the map which, in our case, it was. Our TM30’s were also checked.

At around 13:45 the next day we were given our passports back, complete with a 90 day report, at which point we could go to Room 101 to obtain our multi re-entry stamp. This room was significantly less busy than previous years, and we were called to the desk with 10 minutes and the stamp issued within another 10 minutes.

Approx how long does it take to obtain a re-entry stamp at Suvannabhumi ? Need to budget airport time. Tried at the Jomethein immig office, and after 2 hr of queue time, was told I need a print out of an outbound flight (which doesn't make sense ), tm30, 90 notification copies.. etc. Rather not return to Jomethien immg. I already have the TM8 filled and can perhaps reuse at the airport.

Hello, everyone. I'm an international student studying in Bangkok on an ED visa. Recently, I traveled back to my country to renew my passport. Prior to leaving Bangkok, I obtained a re-entry stamp. When I returned to Thailand, the immigration officer at the airport made a note in my new passport about my previous ED visa without providing further instructions.

So, I'm uncertain about whether I need to visit the immigration office for an additional stamp on my new passport. Has anyone experienced something similar or can provide some guidance?

Thank you 🙏🏻

Hi, my south korean friend has Non-B visa, work petmit and he has Re-entry stamp on his old passport. He went back to South Korea and he got his new passport there last month. When he re-entered to Thailand he showed both his old passport and new passport. He didn’t check the arrival stamp from the airport immigration until today. He just noticed that the airport immigration officer stamped the tourist visa for 90 days on new passport, not stamp the re-entry stamp as he should get because he has the re-entry on his old passport.

Should he go back to the airport immigration even though it already passed for a month?

Thank you
