I have actually decided to go the retirement route. But this was the email answer given when I wrote to them asking, can I use a Thai language course for the DTVisa. Sydney consulate.

Anonymous participant 502 I am thinking 6 months is level 2. Not there yet, but fingers crossed for you. I think level 2 will get harder once there are more players.

in Australia it seems you can only apply for OA and ox no just O. And they require funds of 800k in a Thai bank account. I am lead to believe.
