British too bud did 3 months this year. Just Google thai visa and the best option for none retires etc is a 60 day tourist visa. Then extent for 30 did that ths year it only take an hour. And then u got 90 before a border bounce
I can't say for sure but from uk I had to get an international driving licence. I was there for 3 months this year and as with all forang buying anything its complicated and prob just not worth it. I rent a sports bike for 3 months and its expensive so thought of this and its just not worth it. Its far from cheap but saves q headache.
Can only comment on experience. It technically states yes you do but ive never had 1 as I extend my stay and not exactly sure when I'll leave and last time I was there was march. Not at any airport on the way or airline immigration etc didnt even speak to me. I dont think they have the time to check
I see most people answering you do and assume this is technically true but ive never been asked and i was there almost 3 months in March and didn't book my return flight till late may
Its super easy. I had 45 days and had to extend. Form is short and simple and plenty of room pens etc copy service. Short wait in q gue to basically make sure you have done it all properly then another short wait to pass over form passport and money then another short wait for it to be done and handed back. Could be done in less than an hour.
