What is the current status of the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) for Thailand?
Hi. I normally get a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa from USA. This time the website indicates that it is currently not available. Just to check I also tried the UK, same problem. Does anyone know what is going on? Temp hold on Mulitple Entry? or System bug?
Answer summary
The post discusses issues faced by individuals attempting to apply for the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) for Thailand, as the visa is reportedly unavailable on the official website from various countries, including the USA and UK. Commenters share their experiences, indicating a possible temporary glitch or system error affecting the METV application process. However, it is noted that other visa types, such as the Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV), are still accessible. In the end, an update reveals that the system issue was resolved.

I see most people answering you do and assume this is technically true but ive never been asked and i was there almost 3 months in March and didn't book my return flight till late may

OPThis is on the E Visa website. Can not even start an application for METV. SETV seems to work fine. Since I can not see anywhere the METV has been suspended I can only assume it is a system error. Could be as simple as they ran out of numbers for the METV.

OPThanks I will try again it a day or two. System has been around for a while now so a glitch is rare. Just glad I don't need a COE or Thailand Pass

I've seen reports of the same thing from France and Germany. Possibly a bug
