Go to your local immigration office in the province you are staying in and you can extend your stay for another 30 days for 1,900 baht.

Legally you would be asked to show, 20,000 baht cash or the equivalent in foreign currency, a bank statement or Visa card will not suffice. But in reality it is hardly asked for, just be aware they potentially could.

How come you can’t then, seeing you studied Thai, but then immigration wouldn’t extend your Ed visa as you couldn’t understand Thai🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Why just you don’t apply for the correct visa to stay here, instead of just using tourist and visa exempt, you will probably be asked a few questions upon arrival.

You cannot apply for a tourist visa while you are already in Thailand 🤷‍♂️

best to remain in the country for the under consideration period, get your yearly stamp then travel, but make sure you have a re-entry permit
