probably me not explaining correctly p.

I only want 90 days this time in Thailand no need to extend my 90 day O visa.

I was thinking of extending a 60 day tourist visa granted in UK.

I will be in Chiang Mai but because worried how long it would take I have applied 90 day O Non Imm visa in Uk.

However next time look at extending 60 days in CM.

I did have a problem with a very similar stay pattern.

I had more problems at Chaing Mai airport than Bangkok with immigration.( nearly sent home)

I think it depends on the officer not the location.

I have been using a tourist visa issued my own country no problems so far🤞🏿

Can I travel within Thailand and stay at a hotel without my original passport if it's being processed for a visa?

I haven’t been bus but train was fine and have checked in dozens of hotels with no problems.

If you have a driver licence or something with a picture of you on from home country would be worth taking.

I travel a lot around Thailand I have never had a problem with a copy of my passport.

Of course doesn’t mean you couldn’t but over many years I haven’t so I wouldn’t worry.
