UPDATE as below :

I got my 60 day TV visa today took 3 working days. I am so impressed with Thai Embassy London issued on Christmas Day.

I am in Thailand now I will return on 19th December 2023

to the Uk.

My question :

Can I apply for another 60 day single entry tourist visa on line to the Thai London Embassy whilst still in Thailand, on my existing 60 day tourist visa?

Has anyone done this successfully or am I better to wait until I return ?

I won’t have much time to get it when I’m back in UK that’s why better if I could submit now.

I have completed my application and it’s ready to submit.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully obtained a 60-day tourist visa and is inquiring about applying for another while still in Thailand. Comments indicate that visa applications cannot be submitted from within Thailand and should be done from the UK. However, some suggest applying online could be possible with adequate documentation like flight tickets and accommodation bookings. Ultimately, it's advised to apply upon returning to the UK to avoid complications.

If it was granted (which would be an illegal application anyway,) when you leave they will see you weren't stamped in on it. Be daft to be banned from the country for trying to cheat the system.

If you have the flights booked and first accommodation then yes apply now

You can submit as long as you have a flight ticket from the UK to Thailand.

I think part of the application process is to upload a photo of all the stamps in your passport, that would show you're still in Thailand. I suppose you could miss a page out, but would they check I don't know, you would need to book flights and accommodation etc for it to be approved.

they no longer ask for photos of the stamps ( uk applying)

it used to be but now much more simpler process ( I think others posted re this )

No photo of passport stamps or finance required .

Thanks for your help.

@Paul ******
it must be a very recent change, I did a tourist visa earlier this year, and it was still required then, you say no financial requirement, does that include the METV?? I don't think there ever was any financial requirement for the SETV.

You can't apply while inside Thailand. You need to do it on your return to the UK

You apply through the Thai embassy or consulate where you physically are.

The Thai embassy in London regularly issues visas in 2-3 business days.

In Canada (Thailand Embassy Ottawa)it is currently a nightmare,2 yr in a row, application sent and waiting 4_5 weeks no visa, having to cancel my original flights and rebook( costing $300-500 each time) This year receiving a phone call 3 days after my original departure date and asked when my departure date was,I was livid,I said you have had my application 5 weeks including flight details(The Embassy NEVER CALLS)This told me that they were just then starting to review my application. When I told them my flight had been cancelled due to no E-Visa,I was told Oh sorry you'll have to book another flight. Its just NOT ACCEPTABLE.The ineffective system has cost me $1200:00 Canadian Dollars- Baht 30.000. It is just not good enough.
