ORIGINAL POSTER
I am in Thailand I had a Non Imm OA visa issued in UK it expired September 2020.

I travelled back in October 2020 using my multi re entry permit, the re entry permit expires 2nd March 2021.

My question can I extend this whilst in Thailand ( I’m based Chiang Mai ) or is they any other way I can stay for another month only ?

I don’t really want to put the money into my thai bank for 2 months to change the visa type as I only want to stop until April.

Thanks very much for any advice.

You have two potential solutions:

1. Get a one year extension of stay based on being over 50. This requires the 800K THB and approved Thai health insurance.

2. *IF* it's still being sold a 60 day extension of stay due to unable to travel because of COVID-19.
