Can anyone advise whether there needs to be a certain amount of time between tourist visa applications?

Had a single entry tourist visa in Nov, but I left Thailand after only one month in Dec. Now back in Australia planning to apply for multi-entry tourist visa, with intention to enter Thailand again in February. Have tried to call the embassy but no answer, and can’t see it written anywhere - so would appreciate if someone can confirm whether there needs to be a certain time period between visas. My querie for anyone to comment on is this. I was just looking at the requirements for a Thai OA retirement visa in from Australia.

Looking at it it’s states that a financial requirement is $54545 AUD, which equates to in excess of 1,200,000 bht and $4545 AUD per month equating to in excess of 102,000 bht per month. Obviously this doesn’t seem right when the generally quoted 800,000 bht and 65,000 bht per month are the figures to work on.

Can anyone throw any light on this information or anyone recently obtained an OA visa in Australia to confirm this information. TIA.
