Can anyone advise whether there needs to be a certain amount of time between tourist visa applications?
Had a single entry tourist visa in Nov, but I left Thailand after only one month in Dec. Now back in Australia planning to apply for multi-entry tourist visa, with intention to enter Thailand again in February. Have tried to call the embassy but no answer, and can’t see it written anywhere - so would appreciate if someone can confirm whether there needs to be a certain time period between visas. Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The waiting period between tourist visa applications for Thailand can vary depending on the embassy or consulate. Some users report successfully applying for multiple tourist visas with minimal wait time, while others suggest that scrutiny may occur based on your travel history. Contacting the embassy directly or applying online is recommended, as responses may vary. It’s emphasized that each application is subject to approval by the immigration officer.
I did my 90day visa online in Sydney and about 1 week later I got a email to go in with all my paperwork and got my visa stamp on the spot very simple with a multiple entry
I’m an Australian. I emailed the Embassy in Canberra they were really good at responding. I think they only work in the mornings - I never had any luck with phone calls either.
I applied for a 60 day visa and had a question about it - I included a copy the email with visa application.
With only one previous visa, it shouldn't be a problem. There are no reports of people being turned away by Canberra or Sydney for applying for additional visas.
I had a tourist visa and returned to Oz on 28 November then applied for another one and returned to Thailand on 25 December with new tourist visa. Both from Sydney.
