I highly doubt that you went to “every bank” in Thailand to try opening an account. Also, what passport (nationality) are you using? Opened one with BKK Bank, no problems whatsoever. At least three other people I know personally got an account as well (KBank).
From the two sources I personally heard a sponsorship letter (monthly salary) got rejected and the embassy still requested a bank statement. As always your experience may vary.
No. Once an evisa application is submitted no changes can be made to the application. It even says so before submission. You don’t need an agent, they can do nothing for you. Just wait and see if the embassy/consulate you applied at will request additional documents.
Yoy aren’t supposed to apply more than 3 months before you intend to arrive but once the visa is issued you can use it whenever you want. Just make sure you indicate an arrival date within the next 1-2 months on the application.
Look up whatever flight there is and enter the flight nr accordingly. Same like for accommodation. Just put a major hotel name like Grand Hyatt Erawan.
Canada (Ottawa) was very strict with my friends application as to the supporting documents but his TD bank statement (instant printed pdf) was not questioned. I assume the YVR follows the same rulebook as YOW Hope it helps!
You need to show a proper bank statement with your name and address on it. Some embassies/consulates have requested a 3-6 month history of statements, others didn’t care and one month was enough. It depends on where you apply but a proper conplete statement is important, not a pdf of an incoming wire. Some banks only generate that once a month.
Well either option works for you, as a spouse or by getting your own. One thing I’d consider though is now that the PM has been ousted who was thr main advocate for the DTV there might be changes ahead so sooner is better.
