Without a re-entry stamp, all and any visas are void once you left Thailand. Easy, ey?

@Steve ******
No. Don't go there yourself, they're let you bleed financially. Use an agent, but shop around first for their prices, which vary a lot.

And claim them to be "ncv" meaning "No commercial value".

Just claim these boxes to be decorative items.

Oops, no, never marry a local person for the purpose of obtaining a visa...

I fully unbderstand your point, but the problem is, that the Thai Immigration consists of civil servants with all the shortcoming of such a position, and that they would have to find a way around regulations, that are meant for the majority. IF an immigration officer gives you such a visa, he might be liable to malfeasance charges, which is the least thing any of them wants to encounter.

Have you ever thought about alternatives to Thailand, e.g. Vietnam or Cambodia or any other Southeast Asian country, where the visa regulations are not so strict?

The chance is there, albeit rather slim. Have you thought about anyother kind of visa?

Either you try using an agent or you go to Immigrastion and explain your situation and ask, what they would recommend you to do.

Just tell him, you can read Thai and that's why you only pay 100 Baht.
