I was under the impression that you were quarantined where the Thai Government sends you to. I have a friend that they put in a 5000 baht hotel a night. I don’t think you have a choice.

I have a FedEx letter from USA that has been sitting in FedEx facility in Thailand since 1 June 2020 and everyday they update on website no scheduled delivery date. It was mailed on 26 May 2020 by FedEx.

The way I see it even if Thailand allows flights in and out doesn’t mean anything, it’s the other countries that they have to obey. Most countries are not allowing international flights in or out, so whatever Thailand decides to do makes no difference until the other countries allow international travel in and out. So best case is to wait and see when the world id opened up to all.

It’s like it has been said on here, if they look you get charged if not you’re ok. Me onetime my daughter sent my niece here in Thailand 10 packages of Kool Aide from Dallas Texas and they wanted 400 baht tax. Plus they seem to charge whatever they want when they want.

Me I get a letter from my bank every year when no activity. I have one bank account that I deposit into once a year only never take money out. It’s my emergency get away fund.
