you can’t choose the hotel, the list of hotels for 14 days quarantine is given by government, we don’t have much choice. Unless there are some new hotels coming up in the government list .

I was under the impression that you were quarantined where the Thai Government sends you to. I have a friend that they put in a 5000 baht hotel a night. I don’t think you have a choice.

depends if this cost includes your testing costs or not. If B 35 k includes testing and includes meals its not expensive. Just the meals is worth B 10 k and if they test you twice that is another B 10 k which leaves you with B 15 k for accommodation which is reasonable.

The only ones you're allowed to use currently are: Qiu Hotel, the Idle Residence, Grand Richmond Hotel, and Royal Benja Hotel, Movenpick

People on student visa/ education visas are not allowed into Thailand yet. Even if you buy an air ticket you will not be able to enter the country. Also at this point in time those being allowed in need to choose and pay for their quarantine hotel upfront before heading to Thailand

You'll be required to pay for one of the upgraded options. There aren't cheaper options 🤷♂️You can't go to state quarantine, not eligible.

There is a government list - you choose from that. Best one i know of is Movenpick so would choose that as company would pay :-)

Elsewhere a lot of Uni's are just going to online teaching for a year, ie Cambridge, and quite a few students taking a year out - heard figures of 40% and above.Yujin *************

There are cheaper options than Movenpick but cheapest I heard of was 42k. I woukd contact your Uni if I was you. They may have more infoRob ******
