@Elías *******
can you screenshot or paste the "ineligible" list from the official website here? I can't find it.
Winston ************
@Elías *******
oh really? Which other ones are ineligible? I checked on the official website and could not find such a list. It was important to me because I'm also from a heavily sanctioned country, but was approved.

@Dom *******
not "cancelled". If an extension is refused you're allowed to just exit and renter, no questions asked. Source: that MFA guy on YouTube.

There are no "ineligible" nationalities for the DTV, despite some websites claiming to list so-called "eligible" passport countries. If you search here somebody from Bangladesh got it, but he works in another country, which, then again is the point of the DTV.

It's best if she has residence in another country. Where does she live?

A Syrian posted about his experience in that old Reddit DTV thread from last July (it's now archived). He was a resident in a neighboring Arabic country (can't remember exactly which). He had a rough ordeal and his application dragged on pending document check for months until he was finally approved around September.

@Dave ****
what exactly were you asked, and did you have to "show all your original documents" like is mentioned in this post?

@Paul ******
I'm not believing this story, not one bit. Keep in mind IO at Suvarnabhumi sit in glass booths, so how did this all go down? How do you show documents on a laptop to them? And he mentioned opening his portfolio website. So, he had to connect to WIFI first? And, lastly, who has a ready rental agreement on the day they land at Suvarnabhumi? When did he meet agents or landlords? This makes ZERO sense!

I still find it hard to believe these kind of posts. So, you mean to tell me you pulled out your laptop at that IO's desk, powered it on, presumably turned it towards the IO, then starting browsing and opening your documents? Like, how does that go down exactly? Because at Suvarnabhumi the IOs are sitting behind enclosed glass booths, so I'm having a hard time picturing this scenario. Unless you were taken to a separate room, but you don't mention that. And your portfolio website, did you connect to WIFI to load that? I'm really skeptical here. Sounds made up to me. Also, how would have a rent agreement to stay in Thailand on the day you arrive in Thailand? Wouldn't you have to talk to and meet and agents/landlords first? None of this adds up.
