COVID-19 testing requirements

Passengers must present a valid, recognised negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before the date of travel.

All passengers will be screened for COVID‑19 symptoms and will be required to answer any questions required by the health authorities on arrival.

Children below 5 years old are exempted from COVID‑19 PCR testing requirements.

Entry into South Africa is permitted if unvaccinated . You have no valid excuse.

if you have no valid visa/extension then you should hope you don’t get caught because you won’t like the results

So if you were on Covid extension and that has expired and you no longer hold a valid visa you are on overstay. You cannot now get a Covid extension so you will have to leave Thailand.
