I read from the news outlet accounts were frozen because over 50k baht was withdrawn in a day. So the accounts were frozen until customers provided "proof of income". The whole thing on the part of the banks were very vague. No wonder people panicked and took their money out. Can happen with any foreigner, not only chinese.
I was told at immigration if you leave the country the first 90-day report once you return has to be done in-person again. Basically resets everytime you leave.
The umbrella services is expensive AF. Thailand doesnt give citizenship as easy as the west. I have a friend who has been using their services for years in the hopes of getting a citizenship. They take a HUGE % of your pay check for their services and paying taxes. It is definately not worth it.
Why dont you create a company in the US and have your clients pay the company instead of you. If the company is the one generating income than you should not be liable for taxes here. Wouldnt that be the best solution?
