Depending on the type of visa or no visa at all you need to have an insurance for covid. There was a list of advised thai insuranceccompanies and a general health insurance. H

 most important is: book asq at hotel directly. Mostly you get a confirmation of your request and information how to pay. And what paperwork they expect. Some hotels have regular guests and asq guests. In separate levels of the hotel. Have a look at your booking . Did it mention asq?

 and a idp is only issued if you have a valid national license. An idp is simply an official document that official translates your driving license !

That paper is in holland called VOG verklaring van gedrag. Just Google and you will find it. You can apply for that fully via internet!

 even a returnflight is not necessary. A fligt to ant=y country is sufficient IF you had that requirement.
