Hi, Im struggline with all the required documents in order to get a visa. I would like to apply for the STV can you guys help me out?

I am from the Netherlands, might be relevant for below questions.

1. An English Extract from the register of population (where do I get this)

1. A Certificate of Good Conduct (where do I get this?)

1. A medical certificate (Does this needs to be filled out by the doctor?)

1. Proof of payment (paid in full) for the accommodation in Thailand for the whole period of intended stay (Do I really need to pre-book my entire trip? I do not want to plan that much..)

1. Confirmed roundtrip flight reservation or ticket ( I only have a one way trip, planning for a 4 month trip and I am hoping that other countries are opening their borders soon)

Thank you!!

That paper is in holland called VOG verklaring van gedrag. Just Google and you will find it. You can apply for that fully via internet!

>An English Extract from the register of population (where do I get this)

I never heard of that. It sounds like something your government has that verifies that you are living in the Netherlands?

>A Certificate of Good Conduct (where do I get this?)

This sounds like a police report to me. Contact your police department/ national police department for more information.

>A medical certificate (Does this needs to be filled out by the doctor?)

It must be signed by a doctor, however proof that tests are performed are not required (except for TB).

>Proof of payment (paid in full) for the accommodation in Thailand for the whole period of intended stay

Yes. The consulate SHOULD accept a lease agreement as well. You will be staying for 90 days (since the extension of stays are acquired from a completely different department)

> (Do I really need to pre-book my entire trip? I do not want to plan that much..)

The STV is designed for "snowbirds", people who have a condo or apartment in Thailand, and spend the winters here before returning to Europe.

>Confirmed roundtrip flight reservation or ticket ( I only have a one way trip, planning for a 4 month trip and I am hoping that other countries are opening their borders soon)

The STV is not used as a "border hop" visa. It's a single entry visa. You may be better off simply getting a single entry tourist visa, and then figuring out a way to stay one extra month. The single entry tourist visa allows you to stay for 90 days.

I am a former STVer. Regarding your accommodation, it only needs booked 90 days for initial.. Then each renewal for that 90 days. They generally want it prepaid, but on renewal I just a lease agreement.

The STV is not convient if you want to move around thailand a lot. It was really made for staying in the same spot.
