It is possible but you also need a guid to bring you through china which isn’t cheep , I’ve looked into it, import tax for your vehicle is extortionate , from the UK to Thailand was estimated around 2 weeks driving , would be a great drive and I might still do it

My 2nd home is in a village in songklha , near Hat Yai , never had any problems , Yala & pattani could be a different story ! And as mentioned before any travel insurance will be deemed invalid

From 1st of October you get 45 days visa exempt , you can extend that once at immigration for 30 days then do 2 border runs for another 90 days ,(45 each jump) or if you have the financial proofs just go & get an elite visa for 5 or 10 years 🤙🏼
