This requirement depends which office u r using and do they need tm30. If yes, and yr agent hv to file, u can get the docs from them and file yourself online. But u hv to do all these before u r due at immi next.

Get a re entry then go home, get yr new passport, then when back here, goto yr embassy to get a letter to ack change to new passport, then take to TH immigration to stamp on yr new passport.
