I have a multiple entry one year work visa and a work permit. I need to renew the visa in March . I have very good expat insurance worldwide coverage including Thailand .. GeoBlue but it’s not on that list I saw. Does the insurance requirement apply in my case and if so any idea on how they evaluate

TLDR : Answer Summary
The insurance requirement does not apply to holders of a Non-B (work) visa and work permit in Thailand. Although having health insurance is not necessary for your visa renewal, it is generally advisable to have coverage for personal safety.

And seeing as insurance is NOT required to get a yearly extension based on employment we are done..

Not required for Non B, but better to have. Govt ins is just the bare bones basics

you might actually be health insured on government scheme, by your Thai (?) employer. Ask your employer. Has nothing to do with the enforcement of health insurance for Non-OA visa. You are on Non-B and should enjoy a sound & safe sleep, no insurance needed (but it is always good to have one)

perhaps .. My company pays the taxes of 2,500 baht or so per month against my salary . I never looked into it

Insurance is not required for non- b or a work permit.
