I didn’t pass along the same bad info. I passed along a direct quote from my SSA person at that time. It’s a statement of fact but in any event, I’m glad it worked out for you. It’s also why my post said following and learning 😉 cheers 🍻

That’s good news John because those monsters straight told me in a very clear and nasty tone that if I moved outside the country I’d lose it! I haven’t looked back sense. SSA’s starting to sound a lot like Thai Immigration: each office makes its own rules despite what’s on the books 📚 😂 ... 🤷🏾‍♂️ Glad you got to keep yours though 👍

has presented the best answer therefore I’m going to close commenting. I wasn’t aware they offered consumer protection in Thailand with the way the country seems to run. We’ve also involved other agencies and I’m sure the results are gonna be decent. Thank you all 🙏

funny part is, the day he finished I was getting new tires. I presented the photos to the Thai woman whose husband was doing my tires and her face and question said it all— 😂 😆 😂 She was as shocked 😳 as me— 😝
