totally agree Why take the risk now Better to wait a couple of months I was in the process of applying for a TR before this lockdown but is it really worth the stress?I planned on going end of February but will wait until end of March Of course quarantine will no doubt still be in place but all should be otherwise fine by then

it is illegal to travel abroad from the UK at the moment except in extenuating circumstances Is it really worth the risk for tourism purposes? Plus any UK insurance would be null and void Better to wait at least until the end of February imo

If you're in the UK use the insurance comparison offer annual or single trip with the vast majority covering Covid at competitive rates I dont see the problem

totally agree but it's not a long term solution If you think the amnesty ends September 26th and wont be extended I think theres a big clue there Graham

let's face it what tourist in their right mind would voluntarily undertake 14 days quarantine ?Common sense will eventually prevail I reckon Test before boarding and on arrival You will always get a few asymptomatic cases slipping through the net but it would largely work Theres no such thing as certainty in life

no one knows for sure but I've thought all along borders will be open by October in preparation for high season

My opinion only but I'm guessing there is work constantly going on behind the scenes After all it's in no countries long term interest to keep tourists out Wait and see Things change constantly 3 weeks ago everyone entering England had to self isolate for 14 days That went well
