Hi folks I'm experimenting with thai e visa system and need a little help please I've compressed my passport bio data picture but it's still asking me to specify the photo even though being less than 0.5 mb Any advice please? Secondly I got to the terms and conditions and it says to print for signing I dont have a printer so if I upload to pdf or jpeg and email a friend to print for me will that work ? I'm assuming I can then spend the application Do I then need to upload signed copy or send with the completed barcodes form Many thankd

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing difficulties uploading their photo for the Thai e-Visa application, as the system requests a photo although the file is under the size limit. They also inquired about signing the terms and conditions without a printer, wondering if emailing a friend to print them would suffice. Multiple comments provided suggestions on resizing photos using editing software and clarified that signed terms must be uploaded as part of the application process.

Did you ever hear or noticed that an applicant for a Thai visa using this e-system, needs to print out all the terms and conditions, sign all these documents and upload them before he/she can apply for a visa?

I never heard of it, but I never used the system all the way to the end to actually apply.

The photos are easy to sort. Either take low res pictures from a mobile or camera and upload them OR upload pictures to your Facebook album. Facebook compresses them to very little. Then download them to your desktop and delete from Facebook if you want too.

according to the E visa application, the declaration now requires to be printed off, signed and scanned back as an attachment.

I think you've misunderstood me The form is simply an acknowledgement that the applicant has read and understood the terms and conditions it's simply a one page document but has to be signed and dated Anyway I think we're going off at a tangent here

The consulates list this. Hull still lists the single entry Non O for being 50 yrs old. Whether London will issue it though if Hull request it, is another question.
Ron *******
If people are looking for the Non O single entry for retirement, it has gone. It is now this option BUT they appear to be issuing to state pensioners (65 years old plus) only.
Ron *******
And what visa is he actually looking for?

Apart from that, i will bet 1000 baht he has a pending application for an O-A visa and the software is defaulting back to it.

We've gone through this a million or more times

Are there options? I did made a few screen shots:

You are asked for your purpose of visit and the computer system tells you which visa fits that purpose.

Sounds very simpel to me.

You can keep on trying as the visa you like is not provided. it is the same at the

na tried forever...trial runs as not needed yet.....I am pretty familiar with system after previous success but now it won’t budge and only gives me O-A choice which I am dumping later this year.....for non O.......a nice day out in Cardiff is no probs and they responded within a day when I made a general enquiry..unlike London from whom I get nothing in reply......thanks for the input

Took me weeks to get it right earlier this year....eventually I got the visa......but I go online now and it only offers long term O-A visa which I don’t want anymore and can’t budge from the input section......so when I get back to uk I will go to Cardiff (although I live in London !)
Robert *******
You can only make a choice of the available visa.

Sorry, I want and they have to provide is not the way it works.

Put document on table ....stand up ....take photo of document and everything around it,do not zoom in......go to edit , reduce/crop photo to just the document then save photo. ......then upload photo.....this worked for me.

Did you read the manual before you started?

If you care to read my original post at the end I ask exactly the same question ie do you have to sign them then upload or send them by post with the other relevant paperwork as I didnt go any further with it Robert
Robert *******

what do you have to do with these signed documents?
Robert *******

I have to confess no I ll have a look thanks however I'd have thought it would be a straight forward process but it's a nightmare I remember James Miller a while back saying it was straight forward now hes advising people to go to Hull and Liverpool so its obviously a disaster lol

Upload it in windows paint and save as a jpeg
Brian *******
I gave up and emailed everything to Hull consulate, they apply to London and email you when London gives approval. Then you can go to Hull without an appointment and they will put the Visa in your passport while you wait.

I had to scan all docs and edit in paint to resize everything in there as a jpeg ...pdf files were the cause of being bounced back and having to start all over again with no reason showing or guidance.

@Je**
it's so frustrating but I got there in the end by resizing every scan in Windows Paint
