Trace Connolly By law, the responsibility for filing the TM30 lies with the property owner, landlord, or house master.

Deadline: The report must be submitted within 24 hours of a foreigner's arrival at the residence.

When to file: A new report is required every time a foreigner enters Thailand from abroad, even if returning to their primary residence.

Penalties: Failure to report can result in fines for the landlord, typically ranging from 800 to 2,000 Baht

The ask:thailand community, consisting of multiple Q/A groups with over 100,000 members, powers this platform. It is not an official government resource. Our members actively contribute to this resource, and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee its complete reliability. Assistance to travelers is provided as a community service.
