Just been looking at 60 day tourist visa single entry online applications and it mentions amongst the visa requirements proof of finance ie copy of bank statements but it does not say for what amount Very vague it seems to me Can anyone enlighten please as I've never seen this before when applying by post Secondly if I flew in on a 30 day visa exempt and then extended at Immigration for 30 days but.purchased a return flight flying out after 60 days how would that work ? UK Passport holder All advice appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 60-day tourist visa application requires proof of financial stability, such as bank statements, but it does not specify a minimum amount, leading to some ambiguity. It's important to check with the consulate or the official website for any additional guidance. Additionally, if you enter Thailand on a 30-day visa-exempt entry and then extend it for another 30 days, purchasing a return flight for after the full 60 days should not pose an issue, provided you are following the extension process correctly.
