The whole Immigration thing is borderline corrupt as they want you to use and pay for an agent

It really sure why you would bother, just go for a basic Visa

The rules change for ex pats all the time

In a Country where whether you get a renewal of any visa you have depends on which side of the bed , or mood the Immigration Officer is in at the time

Does any of this really matter

I’ve often thought that if you would just sent whatever money you spend in Thailand including the Air fare they would be happy if you never came at all

Depends where you are in a City or Rural area

What I did many years ago was go around all the Banks in the Mall and ask to open an account

Eventually one said yes

Take them to Super Rich for exchange

Both Laos and Vietnam are wonderfull

I think it’s quite common for Thai women to see their Thai husbands and or partners as a necessary evil, as most of them are pretty delinquent in their family responsibilities especially in the North

You often see Thais married women and men at separate tables even in restaurants or at festivals

It’s different for ex pats as they often don’t speak Thai so you get a group of men at one table and the wives at another when at Social events

Move to Laos , Vietnam or Philippines, depending on my age, if 85 + go home with my Wife as my Carer
