Yeah, I’ve noticed, particularly, many Russians, although, those that I’ve chatted to, were really pleasant. However, that was in the pub.😂🤣

I’m actually going to be living in rural Thailand. Very rural!! I’ll have holidays in tourist areas, but will limit the time; and be delighted to get back to the country.🤷🏻‍♂️

Not for everyone, but suits me just fine. 😊

That’s great. I’ve looked at the Philippines. I’d definitely consider there.

The bonus is, my U.K. pension would be eligible for the annual increases. 😃

@Graham ******
Exactly.🤷🏻‍♂️

I seriously doubt that they will tax worldwide income, but I’ve been wrong before.😂🤣

Anyway, if it does happen, I’ll establish what my liabilities are; and then consider what to do.🤷🏻‍♂️🤔

I absolutely love Thailand; and want to live there. I definitely won’t be working, but I’ll definitely be spending, but I, like everyone else, needs to consider the excess costs, over, potentially, other SE Asian countries. I’ll be staying in SE Asia.

Anyway, I’m feeling positive about all this; and I don’t really need to be too concerned for about another year.

I’m simply going to enjoy my time in Thailand, however long that is going to be.😊

yes, I’ve seen that.

I’ll, obviously, be keeping an eye on that.

I would be surprised if they actually did this.

They must realise that many people will leave, at least for six months of the year.

Result-they don’t get any income tax; and they lose money being spent in the economy.

But, hey, This is Thailand 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

@Graham ******
Absolutely 👍

I’m moving to Thailand this weekend actually.

I’ve been in Thailand a bit already, this year, but I’ve done my homework.

I timed my move, so that I wouldn’t be considered a tax resident, this year.

I’m hoping/expecting that it will be more clear, by the time that I have to consider my potential tax liability. 🤞🤔

if Tim Shilling deposits his 50,000 Euros in a Thai bank, this year, he won’t be liable for potential income tax, unless he’s spent quite a bit of time in Thailand, this calendar year, already.

If he doesn’t spend at least 180 days in Thailand this calendar year, he won’t be considered a tax resident.

I didn’t watch anyone die from Covid, but I honestly believe that people were told that folks died of Covid, but actually died of something else.

It was reported daily, on TV, that people were declared to have died from Covid, if they had a positive test within the previous 28 days, no matter how they died. Eg fatal road traffic accident.

I have been told by folks, that their elderly parents were taken to hospital, with existing serious medical conditions, tested negative, died within hours and declared to have died of Covid.

I think the whole thing was a Psy Op , designed to frighten people and get them to comply with the restrictions. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I reckon too many people realise that Covid was a scam, so more likely, it will be bird flu/influenza.

I also think that the “rulers” want to stop the U.S. election, in November, (can’t risk Trump winning) so suspect a new “pandemic” will be declared before then.

I wouldn’t put WW3 out of contention, which would also stop that election.

But, hey, what do I know? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, I’m also sure I’ll be happy in the LOS.😃

That’s good, that you love Scotland.

It’s lovely that you realise that Scottish people are very friendly.

There’s a few exceptions, like you find everywhere, but I’m definitely a very friendly guy.😃
