they did with me, in August this year.

I had a one way ticket, but had a Non-OA Visa, so no problem.

The point is, it can’t be predicted, whether any particular airline will ask.🤷🏻‍♂️

what I was really questioning was , whether a non-OA Visa could actually be extended at all.

My understanding is that you could get stamped in for another year ish, if you had a new health insurance policy.

I have a non-OA visa.

I didn’t think that it could be “extended”.

My understanding is that, when the 1 year validity is getting close, a new health insurance policy needs to be bought, you leave Thailand; and you re-enter Thailand, just before the expiry date of the Visa.

You will then be stamped in, until the expiry of the new insurance policy.

Don’t miscount the number of days.

Day 1 is when you get stamped in to Thailand, even if that’s 11.55pm!!( in such a case, better to wait until after midnight)

In your case, getting the additional 30 days, which is added to the original 60, not from when you apply, you need to count the 90 days, for your return flight.

For example, if you arrive on 2nd March, your 90 days expires on 30th May.

That is 30 days of March, April; and May.

you don’t need to get a copy of the TM30, done by the hotel. Their entry will be on the system. You should go to your local Immigration Office, within 24 hours of your arrival at your GF’s home to register a TM30 with them.

When I went through the same procedure, a couple of months ago, 2 paper receipts were stapled into my passport, one of which said that I should report again, in 90 days. It actually stated which date that was.

yes, I understand all that.

I’m questioning how the OP appears to have obtained an extension of stay, on his current non-O visa, using the 65K Baht/month basis, immediately after having used an agent ; and without having banked the 800K Baht.🤔

yes, I worded it badly. I understand that I would need to exit and re-enter, after my non-OA has expired.

What I was questioning, was that the OP appears to have obtained an extension of stay, on his non-O visa, using the monthly banked method, immediately after having used an agent, without depositing the 800K Baht.

Having used an agent, any money that was deposited by the agent, (on a temporary basis) wouldn’t have met the requirements for the OP’s previous extension of stay. 🤔
