I think bitter old guys shouldn’t join these pages. Problem is, when you get old you have less time for time wasters and idiots. And, unfortunately, a lot of the questions aren’t worth asking or are just stupid. It sets them off.
I have taken the chance in the past but now I try to get cover. It’s really only useful in very serious circumstances, otherwise it really isn’t value for money.
My insurer has said they try not to endorse surgery, preferring an early return to my home country, to then be dumped and left to the mercy of the health system. So, other than an extreme emergency, they are a rip off.
Ok. It is very likely that the prices are inflated when a DTV is involved. Is it possible to find a class that suits you but you get the DTV another way? Just thinking it could be a lot cheaper.
By the way, it can be a bit of a journey from Nong Bua Lamphu to Udon Thani - about an hour. Just in case you want something closer.
