My phone company charges $8 a day for global roaming. So, that’s $8 every time I need to use it for authentication. I think it’s too much.

Yes. But if you have always lived in a country with state funded healthcare, it’s expensive. And on my pension, that’s a week’s income.

I pad 12,000 baht as an outpatient. At the hospital for a few hours. Blood tests, x-ray and antibiotics given. No overnight stay. It’s not cheap.

Will not receiving an entry stamp after using auto gates cause problems re-entering Thailand?

He hasn’t got an entry stamp or exit stamp. How will Thai immigration know he has been in Malaysia. He doesn’t say how he’s entering Thailand, but if by air then they won’t know at all.
