yes, also BLUPORT in Hua Hin suggest 'don't bother us until you have a week left' but I think that's more a resource management thing, than a policy.

I've used EXPRESSVPN, Nordstrom, and Surfshark. EXPRESSVPN and Surfshark are both good, imo.

Only pre-covid experience, and Expedia were fine, as long as you cancelled within 24 hours. But not all fares offer a refundable option.

It was the same with NZ: no online option for a TR visa. I delivered documents in person (didn't trust couriers with my passport in the run-up to Christmas) and provided everything they asked for, yet still they wanted one more document. 😕

It was fairly quick and a bit cheaper, but I'll probably just do an exempt entry next time... 🤔

I'm doing the same in Hua Hin, and they don't want to see me until about a week before expiry.

your comments are solid gold: clear, concise, informative and, as far as I can judge, accurate. Good on you. 👍

back in the day I could get away with waving an Expedia itinerary around, or booking and then cancelling within 24 hours. I've not tried ticket rental but people say it works.

Cheers, 😊
