If my visa says stay permitted up to 17 JAN 2025, does that mean I have to leave by 16th, or can I still have my flight on 17th night time?

Just a quick question. Will a bus ticket out of Thailand be acceptable for onward travel? Will arrive on visa exempt as haven't got time to sort out other visa options. Hoping to fligh on a one way and get a bus ticket out of Thailand within the 30 days.

Hi guys, is it a problem to have a 7 day extension stamp in the passport full of stamps? Extension called denial of extension and giving you 7 days to leave the country 👀

I am a US citizen and I am set to depart Bangkok back to return back to Washington DC via Japan on JAL next week. I understand that I need to provide a RT-PCR test that is under 72 hours old. Is this still true or have the exit requirements changed?

So…I am going to go over my visa by two days. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it a big enough deal that I should go to immigration for an extension, or just pay the fine and be on my way. (I will be flying out of Bangkok in case that’s relevant). Thanks!

Hi all -

I would like to know, is there any buffer time when my work permit and my visa is cancelled before I need to leave the country? And how long would that be, (if any).

Currently I'm holding Non-Immigrant B Visa BOI (if that makes any difference).

Thank you

Dear admins and group members. I would like to kindly ask a question. I saw a post recently about this but now i cannot find it.

I am on an ED visas last extension of stay, which will expire on the 29th of September. On the very same day, I'll fly out from Thailand.

I read recently I should cancel the ED visa before i leave. Can someone explain to me please, why I have to do that? The school doesnt reporting that automaticly I'm not a student anymore? It will not be cancelled automaticly when I am leaving the country? I am not planning to come back for a quite longer period, tourist visas, ED visas, or any other visas not in plan for the near future. My only purpose to come here again would be to visit my girlfriend and her family for one or two weeks, periodically. Can I have any problem if I not cancel my current ED visa before i leave?

Apart from that, what do you think, what are the chances to come back for short periods periodically, after waiting a couple of months or even a year? Somebody have experience coming back to Thailand periodically for short periods? I understand theres no guarantee and should prepare the cash and onward ticket to make sure. I am just wondering what are the chances. Also ready for being questioned by IO, have many proofs such as photos and family members.

I have history staying in Thailand, one VOA with extension, and one ED visa. In total 1 year.

Thank you so much.
